Museum Pancyprian Gymnasium

EXCURSIONS / Museums / Nicosia / Museum Pancyprian Gymnasium
The Pancyprian Gymnasium is an integral part of the history of Cyprus.

Through the centuries has created his own story. The school was founded in 1812 by Archbishop Cyprianou and then exerts its own influence on the modern history of Cyprus through the national liberation struggles and through his influence with the various eminent graduates.

Among them are Ethnarch Makarios III and President Tassos Papadopoulos. For this reason the Pancyprian Gymnasium has created his own museum which is housed near the building of the Gymnasium and houses several interesting artifacts from its long history of high school .
