For those who like the sea and the organisms that live in it definitely Ocean Aquarium in Protaras will impress you. It is a nice spot to visit that combines entertainment and knowledge for all ages.
Guests, young and old, can admire and study over 1000 species of wild life. Some of these species are sharks, piranhas, stingrays, turtles, tortoises are reptilians and the species endangered sea turtles, eels, Macaw parrots, weighing 900 to 1300 g (2-3 lbs).
On this magical journey you will encounter 400 different species of sea life, also you can visit the Penguin House which one of the most wonderful sites in the Aquarium, see the Siamensis Crocodiles and their smaller cousins the Nile Crocodiles, admire numerous species of exotic birds and walk along in the outstanding tropical gardens.
There is also a cafe housed in a beautifully landscape garden and a small souvenir shop to get gifts for you, your family and friends.
It is open from April to October (10:00 until 18:00) and November to March (09:00 until 16:00).
