Constandis became an artificial reef in February 2014 along with the passenger ship Lady Thetis. Lady Thetis and Constandis are wrecks intentionally placed on the seabed that act as artificial reefs, shelters, area for reproduction and the development of marine life and lastly to serve as a recreational dive site.
Costandis, is an artificial reef, a fishing boat constructed in the Soviet Union in 1989. It's initial name was Zolotels. It was registered in Cyprus in 1997 and was fishing in international waters in the eastern part of the Mediterranean for a short time. It's length is 23m and width to 6.8m.
Now it lays down at the Limassol coast at 25m depth with visibility of 15-20 meters. It can be accesses by boat and the qualification required for diving at Constandis is Advanced Open Water. Divers at Constantis can view a variety of marine life such as damselfish, parrotfish along with jacks and local sea bream and groupers.
