Flames Restaurant was established in 1989 by Theo and Peter, as a family business. Since then they have been focused on providing services with the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

The restaurant is highly recommended for its Traditional Cyprus Dishes. However, if you fancy an alternative, they also provide a wide range of food, such as steaks, grills, pastas, fish and vegetarian specialities. Therefore, Flames can satisfy all needs.

Over the years, Ayia Napa has developed into a premier family holiday resort and since 1989 brothers Theo and Peter have been working hard to ensure that holidaymakers have a really memorable time - both in their restaurant and Cyprus!

Theo had trained as a Chef and Peter a waiter so they decided to open their family run restaurant to give visitors a great taste of authentic Cypriot cuisine or the choice of many international classics. The restaurant's name is proclaimed above its entrance warmly in red lettering and everyone finds that they are welcomed with warm Cypriot hospitality.

The brothers are keen that their guests linger and have made the restaurant & Bar as comfortable as possible with highchairs, baby changing facilities and a play park for children and easy wheelchair access.

Good food is always important during a holiday and all dishes are beautifully presented and in  generous portions. In Cyprus it is traditional that the evening meal is enjoyed at leisure so why not relax and enjoy a cold drink or cocktail whilst you read the menu?

There is a wonderful array of starters to choose from including international favourites and traditional Cypriot dishes such as Kalamari (squid), Grilled Halloumi (the delicious Cypriot cheese) and Koupepia which are delicious envelopes of vine leaves filled with rice, meat and local herbs.

All the Cypriot dips can be enjoyed with slices of warm pitta - Tsatziki (yoghurt and cucumber),pale pink taramasalata (fish roe), tahini ( sesame) and houmous (chick pea).If you can't decide why not opt for the assorted platter to share amongst your group.

There are some great dishes on the main course menu too including all the different grills including some excellent steaks and Cypriot favourites including souvlakia (kebabs), Stifado (a delicious casserole of beef in red wine) and the Meat Mezé which is an array of small portions of traditional dishes which is the perfect way to sample Cypriot cuisine.

There are fish and vegetarian options too and these include octopus, swordfish and other locally caught fish as well as a Fish Mezé with all the different fish to sample and for those who enjoy 'something sweet' to complete their meal, there are some very tempting desserts to sample.

Flames Restaurant & Bar is perfect for couples, families and groups of friends but for special occasions including birthday, weddings and anniversaries the brothers really excel themselves.

On several nights of the week there is live traditional music too, so be warned.... everyone is encouraged to get up and enjoy the Cypriot dancing but don't worry what your feet are doing - no one else is!

Enjoy a wonderful evening at Flames Restaurant & Bar... no wonder many holidaymakers return there regularly. Theo and Peter certainly make you welcome!

The restaurant works from Monday to Sunday 12:00- 00:00.
