What do you know about Gouri?
It is the third largest village in Cyprus in extent and it is located immediately after Kalo Chorio. It has about 300 permanent residents, who, with great effort and toil, they manage to survive in the difficult conditions of a mountain community.
There are many things you can see in one visit you. Except that you see how the houses were in the past, what excited me was that every Sunday you can see how they loom or pottery, mosaics, and the kneading and baking fresh bread. Moreover, in the old primary school building operates a weaving workshop where made decorative pieces, such as towels, cushions, tablecloths, etc.
At Gouri there are three restaurants, 'Mezedokamomata', 'The culture lover' and 'Rebecca' serving delicious traditional food. Also, they make homemade and delicious 'lokmades' and sweets of red mushroom.
