The Museum of Natural History in Aglandjia visitors can live the unique experience to stand very close to wild animals and birds in their natural environment, which is one of the main objectives of the Museum. As main objectives is also education, preservation of our cultural heritage and the revival of old Aglandjias.

Entering the museum, you are greeted by the smiling lady Agriculture, eager to show you around and answer all your questions. The first thing I will explain is that all the animals and birds of the report is stuffed and not stuffed.

The stuffed animals are healthy and strong, killed in the most brutal way and this is a crime. In contrast, the stuffed animals have died in the wild or in zoos or were old and dying before getting the Municipality for embalming. So, instead of leaving it at the mercy of the sun, rain and mother earth will 'takes her womb, utilized in the best way for our own benefit.

There is a wide variety of exhibits. Once you enter to the left, the stable with horses and chickens, you will go back to forgotten times of traditional Cypriot life. Just beyond, the majestic Vulture with open wings, reminds us to be kind to go extinct, one that left only 6-7 vultures in Akamas.
